My name is Sydney Lemons and I grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts. In fourth grade, I knew I had a passion for film and photography and claimed I was going to attend film school to pursue my dreams. I am currently enrolled in The University of Denver’s film studies and production program and began tuning my passion for photography while there.

After working at Newport Folk Festival in the Hospitality department during the summer of 2022, I came to the realization that I wanted everyone to experience the connection of the crowd and performers there. I began focusing on concert photography, and since then have taken photos for many bands around the Denver and Boston areas.

I look to connect people through images, to capture a moment in time, and evoke the emotion captured in the subject in the viewer. My passion for both photography and live music drives me to foster this connection by capturing images in which the audience can remember how they felt at the show, and those who could not attend can feel like they did.
